Your Hypnotherapy Training School Check List

When you take your hypnotherapy / psychotherapy training, you wanto to take it with the very best. Here is a check list that you may find useful.

ICHP		Does the training that you are being offered meet the strict requirements necessary to be approved by recognised associations and accreditation bodies?
ICHP		Has the Institute offering you training been accredited by a recognised independent outside body, both nationally and internationally?
ICHP		Does the training Institute offer you membership to national and international recognised associations of hypnotherapy / psychotherapy offering support, supervision, workshops, seminars, journals, resource centre, customer services, referral systems, professional indemnity insurance?
ICHP		Does the training Institute offer you post-graduate hypnotherapy / psychotherapy training?
ICHP		Is the organisation offering the hypnotherapy / psychotherapy course and the course training itself, recognised and accepted by an insurance company? Most importantly - will the student on graduation to qualified practitioner, be eligible for practitioner insurance, i.e., professional indemnity and public liability policy?
ICHP		Is the organisation offering you training in Psychoanalysis and eclectic hypnotherapy tecnhiques?
ICHP		Does the hypnotherapy / psychotherapy trainer give you training in hypnotherapy / hypnosis / psychoanalysis only, and not dilute the training with other seperate therapeutic modalities such as counselling which is a conscious process rather than a subconscious one?
ICHP		Does the organisation have a proven track record? Can it show you how people have taken the training and increased their profits by 100% - can it show you hundreds of graduates successfully employed in private practice as hypnotherapists / psychotherapists?
ICHP		Does the course instructor address the work of ALL the leading pioneers and innovators of hypnotherapy / psychotherapy - not just one or two?
ICHP		Does the training encourage both personal and professional applications of hypnotherapy / psychotherapy?
ICHP		Has the training organisation been established in Ireland for a minimum of fifteen years? Does it has a 'Therapy House', a dedicated team with experience of working with individuals and psychotherapy?
ICHP		Has the hypnotherapy / psychotherapy training been specifically designed for the Irish student, with suitably qualified supervisors for both students and graduates?
ICHP		Are you able to spread the cost of the course over several months?
ICHP		Is the training flexible (with a minimus number of recommended hours), with specific emphasis on both theory (home study) and practicals (class work)?
ICHP		Does the practical hypnotherapy / psychotherapy training give priority to practical application of techniques ('hands-on' experience) and is not bogged down in theory and lectures, thus giveing the most effective interactive experience possible?
ICHP		Is your trainer recognised not just as a trainer but one of the worlds foremost hypno-analyst and distinuished doctors of clinical hypnotherapy / psychotherapy? And do you have a guarantee that he will be the one who will deliver the training?
